Field Trip to Wagner’s Farm and Pumpkin Patch

This Thursday, October 24th, we will be going to Wagner’s Farm and Pumpkin Patch in Corrales, New Mexico.

We will leave school at 9:30 a.m. and will stay at the pumpkin patch until 1:30 p.m. (We should return to school by 2:00 p.m.)

Alex Villegas’s first and second grade class will be joining us for this field trip. Due to the numbers of students on the bus, we are asking any parent chaperones who can drive to either follow the bus to the pumpkin patch, or meet us there.

Parent chaperones can meet us at school by 9:15 a.m. and Alex and I will have maps with directions for parents to follow. Students must ride on the school bus.

Younger siblings are allowed to join us for this field trip, but per APS policy, younger siblings may not ride on the school bus. They must be driven by a parent. The cost for the field trip is $7.00/ person for any person over 2 years of age.

ABQ Trolley Field Trip

Tuesday, September 17th, we are going our Albuquerque Trolley field trip! Please remember that students need to get to school by 8:40 a.m. if possible! I will open up the classroom to students at 8:30 a.m. The trolley would like us to board as close to 9:00 a.m. as possible.

The trolley will pick us up at Monte Vista and take us on an hour long tour of Albuquerque. Some of the sights we will see and learn about are Nob Hill, the UNM and Isotopes stadiums, Old Town, and Tingley Beach. Students will learn about the trolley as well as some Albuquerque history and trivia. We will return to school around 10:00 a.m.

Just a reminder, there is a limit to the number of passengers on the trolley, and we have met the allowed capacity. We will not be able to take additional adult chaperones with us.
